Stephanie Cook is honored to join Orion Winds as their new Director. Stephanie is a familiar figure in the world of pageantry arts, having participated in Drum Corps International or Winter Guard International in some capacity nearly every year since 2004. Most recently she served as the Tour Director of the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps, and her DCI experience includes seasons as a marching member of that organization as well as Carolina Crown and Capital Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps. Stephanie has also performed with The Knights, Fahrenheit, and the University of South Florida indoor ensembles.
A Florida native, Stephanie received her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida. The performing arts have been a lifelong passion for Stephanie as she began dancing at the age of three. Stephanie has worked as a faculty member teaching dance and color guard at University High School in Orange City. She also served as the guard director at Lake Nona High School. In recent years, Stephanie has been in Illinois, teaching in the capacity of guard director at Northwestern University in Evanston. Her primary work in the Midwest was as a territory sales manager for Southeast Insulators Supply, where she regularly managed and cultivated six- and seven- figure site installation budgets.
Stephanie is thrilled to have recently moved to the DFW Metroplex with her husband Daniel, a University of North Texas faculty member, and their two dogs, Aria and Coda.
